Central Humans: Gills

Overview

Gills are relatively short, compared to many other human ethnicities. They have olive or coppery skin with dark hair and dark eyes. Unlike western humans, Gills and other humans of central Paeta have very defined gender roles in their male-dominated society. Men are the heads of household, earners, doers, decision-makers, and so forth. Women are the caretakers of children, healers (unless there is a male healer), cooks, weavers of cloth, and run households while men are away.
